- The Mass Spectrometry Platform (MSP) is one of the ten technical infrastructures of the Chemistry-NanoBio platform of the Grenoble Institute of Molecular Chemistry (ICMG). It is located in the Nanobio building across from the CERMAV (570 rue de la Chimie, 38610 GIERES).
Its four spectrometers, which may or may not be coupled to a chromatographic system (liquid phase: LC or gas phase: GC), offer solutions for the identification and quantification of a wide range of molecules at the heart of CERMAV’s research activities:
- Biopolymers (oligo- and polysaccharides, peptides and proteins, glycoconjugates)
- Synthetic polymers (polyethylene glycol, polystyrene, poly(3-hexylthiophene)…)
- Small organic molecules (monosaccharides, metabolites, synthetic molecules, etc.).
MSP has also access to a high-resolution spectrometer on the Grenoble campus, enabling the determination of exact masses.
