The mission of the technical department is to manage the assets owned by the CNRS. This consists of installing, maintaining and operating CERMAV’s buildings and equipment.
It advises the management team on the maintenance policy, the safety of staff and assets, as well as energy optimization.
The missions are gathered in 4 axes :
- Estate: rehabilitation, maintenance, enhancement,
- Operation: management of technical infrastructure (fluids, energy, routine maintenance, regulatory controls),
- Workshop: maintenance of scientific equipment and manufacture of original devices on machine tools, and
- Services: provision the Cermav staff with two persons in order to perform studies such as advice or assistance in the the technical department’s areas of expertise.
