The Cermav has been closely associated with the Grenoble Alps University since 1966. This association is cemented by an important feature that allows, on one hand, teaching-researchers to conduct research and, on the other hand, researchers from CNRS to be involved in the teaching and training of students and PhD students.
The structure and contractual nature of the partnership with the University is an important contributory factor in the realization of our mission statement. The presence of teaching-researchers in the Cermav and its geographical location on the campus at Saint-Martin-d’Hères are two essential factors which explain the strong involvement of the staff in the formation.
Naturally the high level studies remain a privileged domain within the framework of the doctoral schools in particular as part of the Doctoral School of Chemistry and Life Sciences.
