Two Cermav scientists have just been awarded by the Cellulose Society of Japan.
Yoshiharu Nishiyama, CNRS Research Director at Cermav, received the 2024 prize for his contributions to elucidating the formation and mechanical properties of higher-order cellulose structures and the molecular characteristics that govern them.
Yu Ogawa, a CNRS Research Fellow at Cermav and working at the Max Planck Institute since 2024, received the 2024 Hayashi Jisuke Memorial Prize for his research on the structure and properties of normal-sized crystalline polysaccharides.
Cermav thanks the Cellulose Society of Japan for this recognition and sends its congratulations to the winners.
